First time going to Summerlin Dermatology. I was very pleased with the initial consultation. The staff is very friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. I’ve been dealing with an issue for quite some time. I visited a few providers here and there, but never felt comfortable enough with what I was told. So I found this place on accident. I have brown skin and I guess certain lasers you can’t use on my complexion. I love this place I had a Christmas tree with ornaments on my forehead. All broken capillaries, but it is going away thanks to Tori. She zaps them and they are going away. It does hurt a little bit, but I don’t care. More

I went in to see Alice Dreyfus for my skin cancer screening. Alice made me feel very comfortable and thoroughly checked my moles. I cannot rave more about SD and Dr. Alice, her assistant, and the manager Jennifer. I was calling all over town and the soonest appointment was 6-8 weeks out. That was just for a consult! Nobody cared why I was needing an appointment nor did they care if I told them anyways. I called and I left AnnaLee an email. Once I told the girls I had a cherry angioma that was bleeding and growing everyday for over a month.... They transferred me to Jennifer and she was able to fit me into a canceled slot the next day. Not only was it explained that when pregnant they will be more sensitive, keep bleeding, and keep growing, but Dr. Alice was able to remove it on the spot and send it in for testing. Something so small as listening to me and helping me made me break into tears in the parking lot. I had to run next door and get them a Bundt cake as the least I  could do as a thankyou! Thankyou for listening, thankyou for getting me in, thankyou for removing it all after so many issues with any other place in town!I will not be going anywhere else as long as I’m in vegas! More

The staff was so welcoming, I am traveling through Las Vegas I had a sore that was not healing and went to urgent care. That doctor said it was a possible skin cancer situation. Other offices in the area were two to three weeks out. The receptionist talked to the office manager and squeezed me in the next morning. When I met Dr. Aspacio I told him we were hoping to be out of the area by Saturday, he immediately took care of the problem and sent it out for a biopsy. I have to admit that I went to see Dr. Aspacio on a warpath. I have a strong personality and I become very aggressive when someone talks to me in a condescending or rude manner. I had read a few less than stellar reviews here on Yelp, and I was negatively biased, almost prejudiced. A friend of mine was waiting for me to go see him first and share my experience with her before she could schedule an appointment. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. The office is amazing. Immaculate and exceptionally well organized. There’s plenty of parking too. They had several measures in place to contain the Covid-19 spread. Everybody, from the receptionist to the nurses, was polite and professional. I finally met with Dr. Aspacio and his assistant Marcela. He was punctual.  Dr. Aspacio was nice, personable, and knowledgeable. He spent quite a bit of time with me asking questions and internalizing my answers. I had a few questions for him as well, and he listened to them carefully. The treatment he recommended for me is well established and has been peer-reviewed hundreds of times in the medical literature. Super safe place to go during Covid. Took your temperature and make you wash your hands. Also very clean and beautiful inside. Went for a mole evaluation and they were able to tell me right away it’s fine and were able to take a quick biopsy on my other one, which the dermatologist talked me through the whole procedure as she was doing it, making me feel very comfortable.. I’ve got fair skin and my doctors have recommended I get annual skin exams, so this is the place I’ve started going after my previous dermatology offices stopped collaborating/referring to them.I came in a few weeks ago; this was my second time coming here since having seen them once last year. I’ll most likely be returning each subsequent year for the foreseeable future.I was told to bring my own pen due to recent world events for signing in, and also to wash my hands upon arrival, as well as when being taken back to the exam room. Understandable considering the recent world events, and all of the nurses/desk staff/etc. treated me with respect and kindness. They were even able to get me back early, which was nice.The nurse checking me into the exam room asked a few basic questions, eventually leaving the room and telling me to strip off everything but my chonis, while I waited for the doctor to arrive to conduct the exam.It’s Alice Dreyfus who conducted by exam, and while being in a medical room with two female medical professionals in nothing but my underwear had the potential to be awkward, it most certainly was not. Dreyfus and her nurse are total professionals who treat their patients right. She checked me pretty much everywhere from head to toe, explaining what different things were and how the majority of them were nothing to worry about. The only areas on my body she didn’t check were what’s under my underwear (which I have no immediate concerns of anyhow).Kind desk staff, getting in early for my appointment, and a great nurse and doctor made this a smooth appointment with no negativity and I look forward to returning to them again next year. He is an expert injector, which means he is specially trained to inject neurotoxins in places that normally other injectors would not. He is sweet, professional, smart and well known for his practice in Las Vegas. My girlfriends come here from SF and LA just so they can see him! I have also had many treatments by the Aesthetician's. Dr. Aspacio is an outstanding Dermatologist! Upon entering the building I noticed how beautiful the facility is! Super clean with office staff waiting with smiles to assist me. Very Welcoming and inviting to say the least! Dr. Aspacio was extremely friendly, professional, informative and patient with me. He made me feel comfortable with his knowledge of every question I asked regarding my pending injections.   We proceeded with our discussed plan. With every injection he would explain what was happening plus asking if I was OK!  Very Very patient man! He's coached me to take care of skin and has swayed me to do things I wouldn't imagine doing. I'm on a new treatment plan now and although I'm a tiny bit worried I know I'm in good hands. The office is nice and fancy, hell of an upgrade from there old Buffalo office days. There office sits in a huge plaza, offers plenty of parking. The office itself is spacious, modern, and clean. If your considering seeing a dermatologist, this is a awesome place. He's a cool dude, the office is great, wait time isn't bad..what more can you ask for? More

Dr. Aspacio is the best! My last dermatologist did my annual skin check so quickly that I was worried about something being missed. It was a joke. But Dr. Aspacio takes his time and does an extremely thorough check, explaining what he is seeing as he goes. I feel confident now when I leave there that I’m getting what I need. This doctor is a keeper! In addition, his attitude and friendly, warm demeanor make the visit a joy. My family & I have seen Dr. Aspacio for years! He's great! removed some Lipomas from my arm and did a great job. However it's tough only being able to remove 1-2 at a time. I have done some research on the Lipoma Removal and found that Dr.'s are now doing Lipoma Liposuction or limited suture removals. I currently have 10-20 lipomas in my right arm, 3 in my left arm, 1 on my left thigh and 1 on my lower back. I have read that doctors are now able to remove anywhere up to 20-30 lipomas in one sitting...I really hope this is something Dr. Aspacio can do or treat, because there is nobody I trust more!! More

Summerlin Dermatology is the best Dermatology office in Las Vegas! If I could give this office 100 stars I would in a heartbeat. My grandparents have been patients of his for over 10 years. My papa had skin cancer that Dr. Aspacio removed successfully. My grandma is a Filipino woman who loves to garden and she developed Melasma, Dr. Aspacio knew the best way to help her. I personally started going to Dr. Aspacio In 2008, I had surgery on my arm and I ended up finding out that I develop keloids. I was very self conscious about my scar, my grandparents recommended that I see Dr. Aspacio and I'm so thankful that I did. Years later in 2017, my boyfriend has a consistent rash that he couldn't get rid of, then he started having fast unexpected hair loss. He went to numerous dermatology offices in Las Vegas and never found anything that helped. I finally convinced him to see my dermatologist he made an appointment to see Alice at Summerlin Dermatology. He said she was very professional and was very direct and to the point. Due to his Alopecia, Alice did injections at the site where he had hair loss and thankfully the hair grew back perfect. You'd never know he had hair loss! She prescribed a few things for the rash and he finally had results. He was happy and that made me happy! I couldn't be more thankful for this office in taking care of my family. I currently get my botox from Dr. Aspacio & I love my results, all thanks to Trish, she is their cosmetic coordinator and office manager. She has the most awesome personality. Every time I get to see her it's like catching up with family, I feel right at home. I work for another surgeon in Las Vegas and our patients can't say enough great things about Trish and everyone else at Summerlin Dermatology. I only trust Dr. Aspacio with my face! Summerlin Dermatology is the best Dermatology office in Las Vegas! If I could give this office 100 stars I would in a heartbeat. My grandparents have been patients of his for over 10 years. My papa had skin cancer that Dr. Aspacio removed successfully. My grandma is a Filipino woman who loves to garden and she developed Melasma, Dr. Aspacio knew the best way to help her. I personally started going to Dr. Aspacio In 2008, I had surgery on my arm and I ended up finding out that I develop keloids. I was very self conscious about my scar, my grandparents recommended that I see Dr. Aspacio and I’m so thankful that I did. Years later in 2017, my boyfriend has a consistent rash that he couldn’t get rid of, then he started having fast unexpected hair loss. He went to numerous dermatology offices in Las Vegas and never found anything that helped. Doctor Aspacio examined the mole growth. Then asked me for my cell phone.  He took a picture of this mole on my back.  It was not easy for me to see since it was on my back. He showed me the picture and explained that it was typical of getting older.  Such moles are common at "our age".  I laughed.  He even showed me a couple of areas where he has developed similar moles.  He made me feel at ease.  I was sooo relieved.  I have lived in Las Vegas for 43 years.  I am 67 years old with Medicare insurance.  If you want to experience REALLY BAD medical treatment just wait until you become a senior and on Medicare!  I thank heaven that Summerlin Dermatology was an outside referral and NOT part of my primary care network!!  I haven’t seen my PCP in 2 years!  All I see are PAC’s or a Nurse Practitioner!  Summerlin Dermatology, in my experience/opinion, is only 1 of 3 local medical facilities with whom I would consider professional, to the point and personable.   I would recommend them highly!!! Came in twice for quick issues while I was in Las Vegas for a bit. I was able to get appointments quickly (within a week) which can be hard with Dermatologists. I saw the nurse practitioner who had plenty of expertise to handle my issues and answer my questions, so I was glad to have that option rather than having to wait a long time to see an MD. I waited a bit to be called in for my appointment, but that's pretty much every doctors office ever these days, and I found it to be less than some other specialists. Just expect a bit of wait and plan accordingly and then it's not really a problem.   So I'd say a pretty good experience to start, but the reason I'm giving 5 stars is I really appreciate that the front desk folks and medical assistants - everyone there - are all very kind and professional. The folks here are very friendly and patient with everyone, even with patients that aren't so friendly themselves! I also have been able to get through on the phone with a short wait which I appreciate, and they've been very personable on the phone too. These nice folks also speak Spanish, from what I've seen quite fluently, so that's great for folks who are more comfortable interacting in Spanish. More

It was an amazing experience!!!  In my ever failing quest for clearer skin I received my first V.I. peeI from their VERY knowledgeable aesthetician "Mechelle" which looked like a Nubian goddess. Having recently moved to the Las Vegas area, one of the items on my lengthy to-do list was, "find a new dermatologist." After checking reviews online, I contacted Summerlin Dermatology, which is Dr. Reuel Aspacio's practice, and made an appointment for a (free!) consultation.  I was to meet to with Pamela, who is the doctor's medical esthetician. She was able to see me the same week I called, and when I arrived at the office I was pleased to find a friendly staff, and an office that was not only super clean but very attractive -- a very nice environment to visit. Pamela saw me right on time, introduced herself again, and asked me what kind of treatment I was interested in. I had recently heard good things about microneedling, and I had read that Summerlin Dermatology offers it. Her explanation of my treatment options was very clear and professional, and she made me feel so comfortable that I chose to begin my treatment plan that same day! Pamela herself performed the microneedling treatment on me. She was very thorough, and took her time. The microneedling, by the way, didn't hurt at all. I am what is considered an insider to the Derm world.  I am a pharmaceutical rep that works in Las Vegas . Reps always know who the top doctors are in the field .  So when I wanted Botox I asked other reps where they recommended I go.  Summerlin Dermatology was recommended by all the insiders in Las Vegas .   I scheduled an appointment here because of two reasons -   1.  As a rep I have first hand knowledge that this office cares about their patients .  Some medications take a lot of work for an office to get the medication covered by a patient's insurance .  This office is one that will take the time required to do prior authorizations so that patients have the best possible therapeutic treatments out there .  This office is one that keeps up on all the new therapies out there .  If you have a condition that requires a hard to get therapy , I can't stress enough the importance of going somewhere that will put the effort into getting you a product that is indicated and works .  Sometimes an office will not recommend a product because they don't want to take the staff's time to do a prior auth.  This office cares enough that they will do what is best for their patients . 2.  I wanted to have an injection of Botox but I have had bad experiences.  One doc left me with a drooping lip after Botox .  So I researched and asked what doctors are "trained Botox injectors"  .  Dr .  Aspacio is a trained and certified Botox injector which means that he has spent the hours to train and get certified.  Some individuals that give Botox are not certified .  Do you want to go to a hairstylist that is trained and certified or anyone that picks up scissors and offers you a haircut ? Dr. Aspacio's administrator makes sure that patients are put first in this practice .  She is the most honest and down to earth individual you will ever meet .  She has a heart of gold . Next is a favorite of mine the cosmetic coordinator she is a true gem.  The moment you meet her you will want to come back to this office .  She makes you feel good about yourself by being honest about what you need without being pushy and trying to sell something to you that won't help you.  She is funny, smart and really cares about the patients here .  She is one of my favorite people in Summerlin. Next is Dr. Aspacio himself .  You won't find a more talented doctor.  He came in and injected me with Botox and I barely felt it.  I don't want to look fake.  I want a natural look.  Dr. Aspacio explained why I wanted Botox in some areas and why I wanted to avoid it in others .  Again this office is patient focused without just trying to load you up on product that would not benefit you. I have had numerous compliments on my looks these past days and my friends want to know who I am seeing .  If you want the insider's guide to a dermatologist you just got it . Dr. Aspacio has the best bed side manner and is so knowledgeable! I received a recommendation from my plastic surgeon to see Dr. Aspacio for my injectables/dermatology. I've seen a few dermatologists here in the past  they NEVER explained this to me! They just took my money and ran! I really felt like a VIP patient with Dr. Aspacio and Trish. I have been seeing the doc for about 10 years and he is the BEST for Botox and fillers. Don't go anywhere else! If you want an artists touch with your face, he is your man. He's done the best filler work that I've had done, ever, and they continue to impress me with follow-up attention to scheduling and genuinely helpful professionalism. Five stars all around. I called in on the Thursday before New Years because I had spot that grew fast. The gentleman at the front desk gave me an appointment for 11 that morning. I had the worst experience with this office today. The doctor is actually great and I started seeing him back in 2012. But after speaking to someone in their billing department I ended up canceling my appointment. It is unfortunate the customer service from the billing staff was such a horrible experience I had to stop coming to this office because now I will need to find another dermatologist. 9/15/14 UPDATE: The office manager called me and apologized for my experience. Summerlin dermatology would have gotten 5 stars from me if it hadn't been for the receptionist that greeted us yesterday! We have been seeing Dr. Aspacio for the last couple of years, & I'm quite impressed with him! We are now seeing Alice & we are very happy with her too! He has a gorgeous practice, & your in & out of there in no time , but the problem I have is this.... When we arrived yesterday for our appointment @ 10:50 am, we signed in & had a seat. 2 min later they call my sons name & we went to the counter & my son had to sign a form stating everything was correct, then she looks at me a says "I'm sorry , but no drinks allowed in the waiting area unless its water "! Really?? How old am I ...53, but she made me feel like I was an irresponsible 5 year old! It's a 110 degrees outside, & I have also been going there for the last few years w my cup that has a screw on lid, but today I'm not allowed ?? So I went outside & sat in my car until they called my sons name...I didn't want my drink that I just made at home to be watered down by the time we got thru w the doctor cause its been sitting in a hot car, cause at that point , I would've taken the top off & just poured it out!! Very disappointed yesterday.... You would have had a perfect score from me, but your receptionist ruined that for you ! I'm already turned off by her & now feel uncomfortable being there!! You need to hire someone more mature to handle your front desk area , as they are the 1st people we see when we enter your practice, & they can make or break whether we continue to see you or go someplace else where we are respected as a customer! Words can't express the happiness I feel after receiving treatment from Alice!! I had a bad acne problem and was on medication for months. My skin cleared up pretty well then after a month off the medication I broke out worse than before. I looked up different dermatologist and decided to go to Summerlin Dermatology because of all the good reviews. My first experience with the front was okay not the best, insurance got confused and I got over charged but I called and they fixed it for me right away gave me the credit and told me I was all set to go. Then I met Alice she had the biggest smile and made me feel so comfortable talking about my skin problems which I felt really embarrassed about. I was able to get Accutane which was something I wanted going into this appointment. Her and her team basically did everything for me all I had to do was get my blood work done 3-5 days before my appointment and I had to answer a few questions, let her know I how I was doing anything different going on the normal stuff then an hour later I was able to pick up the next month prescription . Alice is the only person I'm going to trust with my skin we went on a 6 month journey together and we came out knowing a little bit about each other just building a bond you would want with any doctor. My skin looks brand new and I couldn't be any happier! More

I had a really great experience with this office.  The staff is professional, and the office is very beautiful and spa like.  I was very impressed with Dr. A. and his assistant Trish.  He is kind, caring and very skilled.  He and Trish work very well together. He took the time to explain my treatment to me and really educate me. He explained how dysport works, the correct dilution rates, and the amount I would need based on the results I was seeking. He treated my upper and lower face.  I felt like I was truly making an informed decision and getting my money's worth.   His assistant Trish is very passionate about her work with Dr. A. and was very good at listening to my concerns and advising me.  She has been careful to follow up with me and make sure I was happy with my treatment.  As for my results, after the injections kicked in, I was shocked at how good the results were and how many years he was able to take off of my appearance. I will definitely be going to Dr. A. from now on! More

First time at this office. I am always hesitate going to a new doctor since I just moved to Nevada. When I arrived I had to fill out the standard new patient forms. Paid my co-pay as normal and was called back just a few minutes past my scheduled appointment. The PA was professional and asked the right questions. Excused herself and informed me the doctor would be right in. Dr. Aspacio walked in a few minutes later with a positive attitude and a energetic smile. He was very informative and very easy to talk to. Understood my acne issues and placed me on a plan that is hopeful to improve my flare ups. I have a follow up scheduled in 6 weeks which I'm hopeful with the meds prescribed will help the constant flare ups I've been having due to stress and probably not using the right make-up. I would recommend this doctor/facility as I was impressed with the services they provided for a new patient. More

I've had pretty good skin for most of my life but recently have struggled with perioral dermatitis. This was my first experience seeing a dermatologist and I would definitely come back to this office (if I need to, but hopefully don't have to)!  I was able to get an appointment within a reasonable time frame and found all of the staff pleasant. I saw the doctor on my first visit and his nurse practitioner for a follow up. Both have good bedside manner and seem willing to spend the time you need. My issue was cleared up quickly with the treatment they prescribed and I felt like the recovery progressed as they described it would. The thing that really makes me give this place the thumbs up, though, is that they received more payment from my insurance than expected and actually credited my account so I didn't have to pay my usual specialty co-pay when I came for my second visit. I've never had another doctor's office do that on their own. More

I decided to go to a dermatologist to get my acne under control. The facility is quite nice and clean and comfortable. The staff up front were very polite and extremely nice, so I don't know why the fuss over customer service. They took care of me on a timely manner, got my paperwork filled out and paid my co-pay. Even though their phones were ringing constantly the lady up front was extremely kind and professional. I waited for 10 mins tops and then was called back. The assistant helping the doc was very personable and not rushed at all when asking me basic questions. The doc came in evaluated my skin and set me up with a skin regiment, telling me exactly what to to and what to expect. I liked the fact that he was straight forward and to the point. I also liked the fact that he told me that it will get worse before it starts getting better and by week two it will be at its worse, basically preparing me for it so that I don't stop the routine when this happens, because knowing myself I would. I go back in six weeks and am excited to see the results More

Dr Aspacio is great. The front desk staff need to lighten up lol they seem depressed. The nurses, however, are super pleasant. Dr Aspacio knows what he's doing and will not BS you for a second. Listen to me and listen carefully...I read the comments but I had to have my own experience.  Easy location and plenty of parking.  Staff greeted me before I got in the office (I was still holding the door!) Ambience was relaxing and clean.  Very professional.  I was able to schedule my appointment for the same day (they will work with you).  Minimal wait time.  Ok, now down to the nitty gritty.  I was called in to the off and the first person I met was Trish...amazing energy!!! It was like meeting an old friend. She prep me for Dr. Aspacio. Then I met him...great chemistry between Trish and Dr. Aspacio....Together they are the dynamic duo! Went in for a yearly checkup and everything went well. Soon after I finished filling out my paperwork they called my name. They did a full body inspection and took extra care to talk about every area I was concerned about. I spoke with the doctor about getting lip injections done and he answered all my questions and gave me more information and told me what he would recommend for me and why. I feel confident that when I go get them done they will look amazing! Also spoke with the spa side of the office about laser and teeth whiting. Never felt pressured into anything! You fill out a form at the start that lets you pick what services you want to discuss so there's no pressure or up-selling. Going back in 2 weeks to have some procedures done and will update after that! Also, I have UHC and had no problems with it. More

The best! From the first phone apppointment. Then front desk ladies very professional . It took some time to get in . But that was my fault as I did not have a medical card,  so it took sometime to get the insurance verification. However the person was very nice about it and concerned about the time I was waiting although it was my fault not hers.  The  doctor and nurse was fantastic so professional and kind explained evertyhing well and took the time. Although a biopsy was taken and I will have to wait for the lab. I felt very confortable and happy I  came here. Specially after my horrible  experience with another doctor . My wife hads gone to this doctor a few times in the past. She has a few days off and needs to get in to see a doctor . She called another doctor only because it is closer and had good reviews dermatology Academic . So rude they answer the phone can you hold . Then they come back and drilled  you as if its inconvenient that you want to come see them.  Name, address so on like a check box list no manners and rude tone. My wife felt so awful she is scared  she could have cancer and these people who she has not evwn seen yet made her feel horrible only mking an appointment . She called summerlin dermatology so different the person answered had a nice tone extremely polite. Unfortunately they don't have appointments avaliable . She did tell my wife to try back over the next few days to see if she can be seen in case someone does not show up. My wife said she felt that this lady cared and wanted to help even though she did not even know what my wife was coming in for . Makes you think why the other place has appointments so soon . More

I'm writing this review after I just got home from this wonderful office! I have heard about some really BAD filler Drs here in Vegas. So I waited till I found them and I'm glad, I could not be happier with my Botox and Filler! The Dr. Knows his shit! He's an injecting king! Trish the Cosmetic coordinator is very kind and helpful! I could not have asked for a better experience for my first time getting these services. The pain was very minimal , swelling isn't that bad either and I do NOT have DUCK lips! I highly recommend this office! Four women I know have gone there and I finally tried them. I was nervous as this is my first time having filler in my face. I model part time and was very scared my face would completely be changed. It's not. I look like I'm 28 and I'm 38! There will be some swelling for a few weeks. Not notable though. Already is going down. If you are thinking about it. Try a consultation and see how you feel. They're very warm and comforting. I will be a regular. My husband's been a patient of Dr. Aspacio for a few years, so when I needed a dermatologist for one of those "sores that don't heal," I figured I'd give him a try.  I was very impressed.  Dr. Aspacio has a warm, friendly manner, and doesn't give you the rush job.  He removed that nasty spot right away, without having me make another appointment. I had to return when the results indicated further surgery.  He patiently explained the various options.  One of the available techniques required a referral to a different dermatologic surgeon, but Dr. Aspacio wasn't pressuring me to stick with him, though ideally, that's what I wanted to do.  But he willingly gave me the referral to the other guy. Best ever! I've been with this team for almost 15 years! I see him when I had skin emergencies in the past and he fixed them I immediately . The front desk girls and guy have always been personable and very kind to me. I'm on Obagi Nu Derm and this is my 3rd cycle. I love the results. I am what you could call "good for business." As a professional makeup artist with chronic cystic acne spanning more than a decade, I am both knowledgeable about the available treatments and very involved in my own skin care routine. I (nearly) spare no expense when it comes to my face, and will routinely opt for the best possible care available. Aside from the emotional consequences of suffering with such horrific acne, there is my professional appearance as a beauty pro to consider. That is what Dr. Aspacio provides- of course, with his pal Trish. I've been a patient of Summerlin Dermatology since before Dr. Aspacio started gracefully going gray. He's seen me multiple times before I finally caved and went on Accutane- twice. He's watched me bawl my eyes out over frustration with my skin. I am on a first-name basis with the front desk and can nearly always secure a same-day appointment for emergencies. It's been a long time coming, but since I started seeing Dr. A more than half a decade ago, my skin has finally cleared up for the most part. He's had me on everything from spironolactone to Retin A to Obagi, I've gotten chemical peels from his in-house aesthetician, had him perform a series of DermaRoller treatments. He's given me cortisone shots, helped me out with some emergency scripts, called me out when I was being over zealous, and I've left his office more than once with Bandaids on my face as he tirelessly waged war against my helpless skin. I finally have a regimen now that keeps my face clear for the most part. Only once in a blue moon do I have to pop in for a quick emergency shot to dissolve a cyst. Trish emails me once in a while to see how I'm doing. But I'm certain that before this decade is through, I'll be back in his chair to wage war on a different kind of problem- wrinkles. Dr. Aspacio, if you ever read this, thanks for hanging in there with me! Going into your office is bittersweet- I"m obviously in there for some kind of crisis, but at least I know I'm in good company. More

I decided it was time to get a thorough skin evaluation. I did my research and found that Dr. Aspacio was considered one of the best, so I made my appointment. The forms are all on line and easy to complete. My appointment was first thing in the morning, I arrived early to take care of the insurance business and settled into my chair, about 20 minutes later I was called to the back, since I was getting a yearly all over skin evaluation I had to put on the paper gowns. Feeling a little vulnerable, I waited another five minutes and Dr. Aspacio came in, very good bedside manner, puts you right at ease. He did his thing, prescribed some cream and set up to see me in two weeks. Overall, good experience. Office staff friendly and helpful. More

I've been going to Dr Aspacio's office for about a year or so now.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE Trish.  She is super-friendly and really cares about you and will always check to see how you are doing or how your Botox is reacting to your face.  I love going here for my Botox.  I've even been here for check-ups on my skin (I work outside.)  I was disappointed with my treatments on the left-side of their office for laser hair removal however.  I went about five times for my hair down there and a year later I still have to use other removal methods.  I know you are supposed to go six times but I had been elsewhere for my first time and I don't think one more time will get rid of all my hair.  Besides hair removal being pretty pricey here it feels like hot rubber bands are snapping your skin and it makes in-between my toes sweat so badly and I didn't know I had sweat glands there!  There are no guarantees with hair removal here, but it is in a dermatologists office so I guess that is your trade-off.  (I've heard awful stories about people being literally burned at hair-removal "clinics.")  I won't be doing any hair removal there ever but will continue to see Trish and Dr. Aspacio for my skin. I called the office, frantic, because out of nowhere, my face started acting funny and I'm leaving town to get married in a few days.  As a new patient, I figured I probably won't be able to get an appointment with the Dr. for a few weeks.  The super nice and helpful receptionist told me they would see me right away!!   I rushed over there from work, filled out some paperwork, and waited a couple minutes before they called me back.  Dr. saw me right away.  He sat down with me and we talked about what may be causing the redness, peeling, and itchiness of my skin.  He sent me off with some cream to help calm my skin down before my wedding, and I was told to come back after the wedding so we can run some tests to figure out the root cause of all this. I just want to thank Dr. Reuel Aspacio and the rest of the staff for seeing me at such short notice.  The staff is so friendly and is so willing to help and is so accommodating.  I'm so glad I finally found a dermatologist I know I can keep going back to for my skin needs. I was a bit hesitant coming here, reading other peoples reviews. I had sunspot that I was worried about and in the past I have been to other skin cancer clinics to have my annual checkups, but I was looking for a doctor that would be a little more personable. When I setup my apt, I was advised that they had a form I could fill out online to save time, so I did. Thus when I got there, I was in and out in under 30 minutes. I had a full body check and he checked everywhere and anywhere I had a concern he told me what it was. The only bad thing that came of my visit was that I have to wear more sunscreen on my face... I hate that stuff.. so oily. More

This is the most professional and friendly doctor's office I have seen west of the Mississippi.  The staff is patient and helpful, friendly, and doesn't make you feel like you are bothering them.   My daughter was treated for her psoriasis and was in and out in 15 minutes with samples in hand and a lab test authorization in hand.  The return visit was just as warm and friendly and another 15 minute visit this time with more samples and prescription on its way by mail. Not to mention it is next to Nothing Bundt Cakes and Le Belle Terre so if you do have to wait, you have good food to occupy your time! More

My family started going to Dr. Aspacio’s office in 2011 for my teenagers’ acne as he was recommended by a family friend.  I found the staff to be nice and professional from check-in to check-out.  From the staff’s tidy appearance to the tasteful decorations and comfortable seating, it made me feel like they took care of the details of the office like they would take care of a patient’s skin care needs.  No, you can’t judge by appearances all the time but in this case, that feeling proved true, time and time again with our many visits. Service was consistently great with good results of any skin care issue.Dr. Aspacio was great with my teenagers and used aggressive, effective treatments to help clear up their skin.  When they followed the doctors or his assistant’s instructions, the skin cleared up beautifully.  If a flare-up did occur, Summerlin Dermatology helped correct the problem quickly. I started going to the office for myself this spring for my own aging skin issues. My history is that I’ve been taken by the info-mercials for a number of years buying products promising lots but delivering nothing significant to my skin.  I also have gone to a laser machine office with a trained tech but my body grew intolerant to the painful zapping.While visiting Dr. Aspacio’s office for the kids’ acne, I noticed the brochures on treating aging skin. I was finally ready to address my skin issues with a medical doctor trained and licensed in the dermatology field.  The step up was significant financially, but the results have been immediate and very positive.  I feel great and wish I had started on a program like this earlier!Any treatment was fully discussed with questions answered and prices explained.  The staff was very careful about pain and sensitivity which I appreciate considering previous negative experiences at other offices. The skin care products work really well too.  Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Aspacio and any of his staff as it relates to your skin care issues and treatment. More

I went to SD for my yearly skin cancer screening. They offer many services that have to do with hair and skin. The waiting room was very modern, the comfy chairs and TV helped pass the time. My wait time from check in to seeing the dr. was over 30 mins, but I understand. I would rather the dr. take his time when seeing his patients. Dr. Aspacio was friendly and had a good sense of humor. He examined me from head to toe and reminded me to cover up, wear sunscreen, and to check my skin each month for any changes that I may notice. I will see him next year for my screening. More

I've been seeing Dr. Aspacio for both medical and cosmetic procedures since 2005. He is friendly, personable, and professional. He successfully treated my cystic acne and other issues and has since helped me navigate the overwhelming options of cosmetic dermatology. I see him for both botox and fillers, and I would describe him as an artist. He strives for a natural, refreshed look- nothing that will make you look "done." If you like that filled, crazy cheekbones and lips look, do not go here, he will say no. His cosmetic treatment manager, Trish, is fabulous, and is happy to book your appointments and answer any questions you have directly by email. She also lets me know when there are specials and helps me save money where I can. The only reason I am not giving this office 5 stars is because his other office staff could be more polished- but they get the job done and I've never had any issues. And when it comes down to it, I go here to see and get work done by the artist himself, Dr. Aspacio, regardless of anything else. Go see him you will not be disappointed! More

So after years of neglect and not following up with a basal cell melanoma I had, I finally asked around to find a derm in Vegas that could give me my long over due full body check up.  I was highly recommended to Dr. Aspacio from some friends so I made the appointment and checked out his practice.  Everything was great. I was able to get in to see the doctor in a reasonable time, the staff was friendly, the doctor did not give me the business about not seeing a derm for over 8 years, even though I was supposed to have a check up every six months, he just told me straight up that it was important to stay on top of, that I had one growth to keep an eye on and that my girls were more sucseptible to skin cancer and to make sure to keep an eye on them.  He also gave me a bag of free samples of sunscreen as a very nice way to give me the hint to start using it!! I will never go anywhere else for my skin care needs. I first found Summerlin Dermatology through my insurance company directory, and seeing that it was fairly close to me, I took a chance. I'm so glad I did! Dr. A is truly an exceptional doctor. Every time I come in, he is attentive, caring and professional. I can have a true dialog about my concerns and he will always tell me the best course of action, even if that course is to do nothing at all. Yes, you read that right- this doctor is very conservative with respect to treatment (in the best possible way) and will not treat an unnecessary issue just to get paid. He cares about what is best for the patient (and he is always right). What a rarity! I feel the best dermatologists are artists at heart, and this is definitely the case with Dr. A. His attention to detail and aesthetics is incredible. My skin has never looked better. Trish, as the reviewer below me so fittingly described, really is a rock star. I can't say enough about her either. She is friendly, funny and always follows up with me to make sure everything is going OK. In fact, every single person on the staff is wonderful, and I always see and hear them talking to each other in a way that you just know they are truly a team. I've never seen such an upbeat, professional office. If you would like a truly wonderful experience, you will not find one better than this. I mean, how many people can actually say they have a great time at their doctor's office? I can! More

I went to Dr. Aspacio last week for my ongoing acne issue and he was very helpful.  After reading some bad reviews I was very nervous that he would disappoint but I was very satisfied with the service I received.  The office was very nice and clean, and only 5 minutes from my apartment.  I got an appointment 4 days after I called which was shocking because back in Ohio it usually takes about a month to get an appointment to see a derm.  After he wrote me a couple prescriptions, a nurse came into the room and gave me some great advice on some different products I could use, such as the Clarisonic face brush.  I'm so glad I decided to go to him rather than listen to some of these bad reviews.  I will definitely recommend Dr.Aspacio to anyone looking for a dermatologist and I plan on making another appointment very soon! I've been going to Dr. A. for almost 8 years at this time and can't believe that I have neglected to sing his praises.  I think his office manner is outstanding.  He makes every effort to distract me while he is sticking me with needles for every biopsy, stitches, etc. that he has performed!   I have a history of skin cancer, therefore am diligent about my skin and he listens to every one of my concerns. I also can't say enough about Trish.  She is a rock star and I enjoy our conversations and value her opinion on all things 'skin related'.  Plus she makes me laugh and I enjoy their sense of team and energy! Their new office building is amazing.  A true example of how his practice has grown-yet, I know I am still special when I walk in the door! More

Dr. Aspacio and his staff are very nice, caring, funny. Injections barely hurt at all and look great. A little pricey but well worth it. Hard to find quality doctors in Vegas, fortunately this is one! Very nice, clean office too. I will be back. More

I always notice this dermatology center when I eat at the Roadrunner and I figured why not use these guys and if I don't like it I'll get a second opinion somewhere else.   When you first walk in you'll notice a row a chairs on the left and right and in front is the counter.  Directly behind the counter was a male who handled everyone coming in, to the left was a female who was doing appointments and taking calls, and behind the male was a female and it sounded like she was reminding people about their appointment and/or rescheduling.  Yes I was eavesdropping.   The male was friendly and got me started on all the paperwork I needed to fill out.  Almost as soon as I turned my paperwork in I was called.  I met with a nurse and immediately soon after the doctor.  Dr. Aspacio was kind and knowledgeable.  He knew that I know what was going on because the home remedy I've been trying wasn't working and so he immediately concluded to what my friend nurses and doctors I've run into while at work have said.  I was prescribed a mild medication for my acne which is exactly what everyone says I needed.   Will update within the weeks to come or on my return appointment in 4 weeks.  5 stars if I get the desired results!
